Inner Worlds
The three inner planets, orbiting closest to Pyro's volatile star — from the blast-furnace surface of Pyro 1 to the wild-west frontier of Monox and the outlaw-run ice of Bloom.

Orbiting very close to Pyro's volatile star, Pyro I has high temperatures and atmospheric pressure.
Lore: First planet from the sun. A thick, high-pressure atmosphere hides a landscape beset by powerful winds and lightning; abandoned research and mining outposts sit under the clouds.
Field Notes: A Venus-like planet — thick hot atmosphere that's mostly CO2, 300°C+ on the surface. Very craggy terrain with large dark pointy rock formations.
The coreless Monox, nicknamed for the toxic carbon monoxide in its part-oxygen atmosphere, bears the scars of old mining operations.
Lore: Second planet from the sun. Once a terraforming candidate, but its proximity to the volatile star made it too dangerous; outlaws took up residence when the corporations pulled out in the 26th century.
Factions: Citizens for Prosperity, Headhunters, XenoThreat
Field Notes: The wild west in planet form — gorgeous landscapes dotted with blue lakes, trading posts, salvage yards and mining outposts, inhabited by ruffians.
This icy terrestrial world has a breathable atmosphere of nitrogen and oxygen and has been overrun by outlaws.
Lore: Third planet from the sun and the epicenter of Pyro mining. Abandoned staging sites, barracks and processing centers were claimed by squatters, outlaws and former miners.
Factions: Citizens for Prosperity, Headhunters, XenoThreat
Stations: Orbituary (R&R) & Starlight Service Station (CfP)
The gas giant Pyro 5 and its seven moons — including Pyro 4, a former planet knocked into orbit by an ancient impact and now on a slow collision course with the giant it circles. Six of the seven are lifeless rock; every one hides outposts and Valakkar.
Pyro 5
Gas Giant · No Breathable Atmo · Hydrogen Harvesting
The largest planet in the Pyro system, Pyro V has a striking atmosphere swirled with shades of green and yellow.
Lore: Its outermost moon, Pyro IV, once orbited the star as its own planet before a celestial impact knocked it into Pyro V's gravity. Residents and travelers harvest hydrogen from its green-and-yellow atmosphere.
Field Notes: Surface texture matches Ignis (possibly unintended); appears distinctly red at distance when the clouds are culled.
The thick, high-pressure nitrogen-methane atmosphere of this moon hides a dark and eerie landscape.
Lore: Its atmosphere supports plants that subsist on hydrocarbons. Water exists only as ice — too cold to run liquid — and reportedly extremely bitter when melted.
The carbon-rich soil of Vuur supports unique forms of plant life that use crystalline carbon in their base structures.
Lore: Sixth moon of Pyro V — unusually warm for its distance thanks to a greenhouse effect in its dense CO2 atmosphere. Its crystalline-carbon plants were once prized by botanists.
Astronomers theorize that in the distant past, Pyro IV collided with a planet-sized mass, warping the landscape and knocking it into the orbit of Pyro V.
Lore: Once the fourth planet from the sun. The impact destroyed its atmosphere; a new one has formed, but it is on a long, slow collision course with Pyro V and will one day crash in or break up into a ring.
Factions: Citizens for Prosperity, Headhunters
Surface Locations: Data Centers, Caves, Outposts, Derelict Outposts
Deposits: Igneous, Hadanite, Felsic, Atacamite · Fauna: Desert Quasi Grazer, Grassland Quasi Grazer, Maroks
Field Notes: The nicest "planet" in the Pyro system by far.
Terminus is a frigid, barely-habitable planet with a methane-laced atmosphere.
Lore: Outermost world of Pyro. Its nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere is technically breathable but methane and CO2 make extended exposure harmful. Proximity to Ruin Station makes it a flashpoint for gang power struggles.
Factions: Citizens for Prosperity, Headhunters, XenoThreat
