Extraction Simulator

Salts Command · Fracture Trainer

Feel the mining loop before you burn a real Prospector. Hold the laser in the optimal charge window, watch the overcharge, and crack the rock clean — then extract the good fragments and re-crack the big ones. Same rhythm as the Mining Guide, no ship at risk.

Click an owned item to equip it. Click a priced item to buy it with earned aUEC. Bigger ships add mounts, cargo, and hull — more mounts let you stack more heads on one rock. Passive modules buff permanently; active modules are fired live during a crack for a limited number of uses. Modules slot into your mining head — the starter Klein has 0 slots, so equip a head with slots (Arbor and up) before you can use any module. Gadgets are deployable consumables — equip one, then during a crack hit Use Gadget to deploy it on the rock and calibrate it; a good calibration reshapes the rock’s resistance, instability, window and charge rate.

How to Play

Hold the energy arrow inside the green optimal window and the Optimal Charge bar fills; let the arrow fall below the window and that bar drains back down. Drift above the window into the red and the Overcharge bar fills instead. Fill Optimal Charge to 100% and the rock cracks clean into fragments. Let Overcharge hit 100% and the rock detonates — it's destroyed with no ore, your hull takes heavy damage, and the blast can knock out an equipped laser or module (you'll re-buy it in the store). The Optimal bar fills faster near the top, so ease off before you overshoot.

// Difficulty
Every scan is rated EasyMediumHardChallengingImpossible, computed against your current rig — ship, heads, mounts, and passive modules all factor in. Impossible means your rig can't physically reach the window; skip it, upgrade in the Store, or fire an active power module (Surge) to force it. High resistance raises the window; high instability makes the arrow jitter; composition decides profit.
// Store & upgrades
Extracted ore fills your hold; End Run sells it and banks aUEC to your credits, which persist between sessions. Spend them in the Hangar & Store on bigger ships (Prospector → Golem → MOLE → Arrastra), better heads, and modules with real trade-offs — Rieger adds power but narrows the window, Focus widens it but drops power, Torrent trades window for charge rate, filters cut inert for cleaner yield. A hull breach mid-run loses whatever's still in the hold.
// Fragments
Purple fragments extract straight to the hold. Yellow fragments are big children that must be fractured again — click one to load it and crack it down.
// Gadgets
Buy a deployable gadget in the Hangar (BoreMax, OptiMax, WaveShift, Sabir, Okunis, Stalwart — the real Star Citizen lineup) and equip one. Mid-crack, Use Gadget opens a calibration window: a live resonance waveform over three emitter sliders — Propagation, Field Range, and Axial Scatter. Each has a hidden sweet-spot; tune all three until the waveform locks and Signal Lock clears 90%, then Activate to reshape the rock — dropping resistance, calming instability, widening the window or slamming charge rate, depending on the gadget. Each gadget carries a few charges per run, and a cleaner lock means a stronger effect.
// FIELD NOTE. This is a simplified training model, not a physics-accurate mirror of the live game — laser, ship, and ore numbers are representative and tuned for feel.
