Open the Steam Workshop collection and subscribe. The DayZ launcher pulls everything down automatically — CF, Dabs, DayZ-Expansion and the rest.
Start DayZ through the DZSA / DayZ launcher with the collection enabled. Let the mods finish loading before you connect.
Add a favorite / direct connect to 216.245.177.31:2362, or search the server browser for Salts Command. Then hit Join.
Once in-game, open the Survivor's Book for live server info, rules, crafting recipes and territory tools. Then head inland and start rummaging.
The Salts Command server runs a customized loot economy. Alongside the gear you'd expect, the world is stocked with modded firearms from SNAFU Weapons, military kit from MMG, and clothing from Windstride's pack — plus a range of custom items and enhanced tools baked in through our DDG server files: MREs, cookies, sharpening stones, sewing and repair kits and more.
On top of that, empty hands are never wasted. You can search cabinets, desks, trash cans, piles and dumpsters, rummage through coops and hutches, and strip supplies off the bodies of the infected. If you know where to look, you're never truly empty-handed.
This is a PvP server with heavy PvE pressure. AI soldiers patrol the whole map, an overhauled infected threat hunts by sight, sound and smell, and other survivors will shoot on sight outside of safe areas. There is no trader and no safezone — every encounter is a real one.
We discourage abusing glitches, errors or bugs. Admins use discretion to keep things fair. The goal is a thriving community where players can enjoy DayZ to the fullest and make lasting memories in the post-apocalyptic world.
A handful of systems reshape how you survive. Learn them and the map opens up.
Empty-handed searches of trash, dumpsters, wood piles, fruit trees, coops, dog houses and hutches turn scavenging into a survival skill. Wear gloves and a mask — searching the wrong thing can cut you or make you sick.
Dumpster Dive · Search For LootZombies bleed, smell you, hear you and see you. They break doors, climb, and can't be locked out. Hits inflict status effects. Get them bleeding, back off, and let them drop — or don't, and find out why you can't hide.
Inedia Infected AISoldiers hold the whole map. Snipers watch deer stands, Guards defend military assets, Air Crash Crews secure downed aircraft, and elite Troopers actively hunt survivors — you'll get a radio warning when they're close.
Server AI PatrolsNavigation is earned. A compass enables the HUD compass, a tourist map unlocks the on-screen map, and a powered GPS gives you both. No item, no readout — learn the land the hard way.
Expansion Map SystemBuild with vanilla and DayZ Expansion kits, claim a territory, and defend it. Raiding is controlled — only doors, windows, gates and hatches can be breached for entry. No building in military zones or blocking roads and wells.

No hacks, cheats or unfair advantage. Exploiting bugs or glitches for gain is prohibited.
Don't excessively harass or stalk players. Raiding is allowed; needless base destruction is discouraged.
Treat all players with respect — no hate speech or toxicity. Please keep global chat in English, and don't spam.
This is a PvP server. KOS is acceptable anywhere outside safe zones — expect hostility, RP is welcome but not required.
Camp or exit during an engagement and you're locked out for 30 minutes. PvP avoidance results in a ban.
There is no trader, so there is no safezone. Everywhere is live.
No bases inside military bases, camps or fortified areas. Don't block roads or wells.
Only doors, windows, gates and hatches may be breached for entry. No other base objects can be destroyed.
Loot refresh and cleanup are scheduled. Manual cycling hurts server performance and results in a ban.
Report violations to admins with evidence — no vigilantism. Respect admin decisions; they keep play fair.
